The goal of Precision Piano Tuning is to further the enjoyment of music, both professional and amateur, by providing complete piano care. As part of my standard service call, I offer practical advice on how to help your instrument reach its highest potential in performance and beauty. This may involve repair, reconditioning, regulation, voicing, and tuning.

When servicing your piano, we do more than just make sure that every key is playing at the right pitch. Just as importantly, we make the needed repairs and adjustments so that all the keys have the same feel and response. While minor repairs and adjustments are included in the standard tuning fee, if major repairs will be needed you will be consulted before any work is done.

I achieved Craftsman Status as a registered tuner/technician in the Piano Technicians Guild in 1979.

I have worked with the full gamut of pianos, ranging from the humblest of vintage uprights to the finest of concert grands, having a full understanding of everything that's needed to bring a piano to the peak of its capabilities.
